Over twenty five years of experience managing teams to produce highly-effective marketing and public relations campaigns that have generated hundreds of millions of dollars in ticket sales and ancillary revenue, and billions of overall impressions and engagements.
Works collaboratively with regional institutions, dozens of arts organizations and hundreds of artists to promote Pittsburgh as a premiere destination for arts, culture, entertainment, dining, and urban living.
Founder and executive director of ParkPGH (parkpgh.org), southwestern Pennsylvania’s first real- time parking availability platform that communicates garage spot availability to mobile apps and a responsive website. ParkPGH is a national winner of the Intelligent Transportation Society of America’s Smart Solution Spotlight award.
Built and supervise in-house marketing communications teams and work effectively with external agencies, both large and small.
Winner of the Association of National Advertiser’s (ANA) 2019 Genius Award. One of the world’s most esteemed marketing awards that recognizes the use of advanced marketing analytics, the Cultural Trust was awarded the ANA Genius Award for Data and Analytics in Storytelling beating high-profile finalists including Live Nation, Anheuser-Busch, and Pearle Vision.
Initiate and implement sponsorships with numerous media outlets and corporations including PNC Financial Services, Mercedes Benz, The New York Times, Target, Steinway & Sons Piano, Giant Eagle, The Post-Gazette, ABC, CBS, New Jersey Transit, WNYC, WDUQ, WYEP, AAA, FedEx, EQT, Citizen’s Bank, Dollar Bank, and American Airlines.
Program first-run national tours of Broadway blockbuster events including Hamilton, Wicked, Disney’s The Lion King, and Dear Evan Hansen. Market a broad range of arts and entertainment productions from Bruce Springsteen and Jerry Seinfeld to Dancing with the Stars and Alvin Ailey. Produce and promote several festivals including the Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival, Highmark First Night Pittsburgh, aimed at audience development and community engagement.
Directed marketing and public relations initiatives for artist Florentijn Hofman’s The Rubber Duck Project’s North American debut as part of the 2013 Pittsburgh International Festival of Firsts. Gaining international attention and placement on all major U.S. television and online media outlets, the giant floating sculpture attracted over 1.5 million people to downtown Pittsburgh and stands as one of the most popular tourism draws in the city’s history.
Storyboarded, wrote, produced, and directed an education campaign to address the dangers of purchasing tickets from brokers and scalpers for performing arts events. Partnering with Cinevative, a official ticket source video was crafted to be rebranded and now provides an effective asset to arts centers to combat the issue on a national level.
